The brand awards go to those that finished best in the Vehicle Dependability Survey , Initial Quality Survey (First 90 Days) , Automotive Performance Execution and Layout , and Customer Service for Luxury and Mass Market brands. Spoilers: Buick beat Lexus, Kia beat Porsche, Jaguar beat Porsche, and Audi and MINI had the best survey results for customer service.

I’ve never purchased a new vehicle in my life, let alone done a survey or reported an issue. I expect the FP will post this stuff. The Buick beating Lexus in dependability and Kia beating Porsche (plus Hyundai being third place) in initial quality should start a riot in the comment section.

I dunno about a riot. The JDP results are respected for a reason. I work for Hyundai and we make some good stuff. We were understandably happy about the results today.

For dependability and appeal, the second place was scored higher in total than the first place. So I don’t know how Buick is higher up on the list than Lexus. Same with Porsche versus Jaguar.

It's a little shocking how poorly Honda did in some of these. They were behind most of the FCA brands in IQS!
